LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, Justin A. Zimmerly, 25, North Broadway, Salem, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury.
Zimmerly is accused in the June 17 armed robbery of the Circle K on East State Street in Salem. According to court documents, Zimmerly wore a gray knit stocking cap over his face, brandished a 3.5-inch knife and demanded the clerk open the cash register. He then allegedly took $128 from the clerk.
Larry L. Warner, 52, Camp Boulevard, Hanoverton, was fined $1,200, sentenced to 29 days in jail, had his license suspended for a year and required 50 hours community service for two counts of possession of drugs for marijuana and pills in his possession which were not prescribed to him, OVI second offense and speeding.
Joseph L. Corbett, 38, Kittanning, Pa., was fined $400, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to 30 days in jail, consecutive to another case in Common Pleas Court, 11CR234. He pleaded no contest to resisting arrest and possession of a drug abuse instrument. A tampering with coin machine charge was dismissed.
Donald L. Bates II, 37, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $325 for failure to reinstate a license and failure to control. A seat belt citation was dismissed.
Nathaniel Q. Courtney, 35, last known address West State Street, Salem, was fined $300, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to five days in jail for menacing and criminal damaging for breaking a window at his ex-girlfriend's home and leaving her a threatening voice mail message.
Douglas M. Raffle, 31, Ohio Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 and required 10 hours community service for hit skip, failure to control and driving under suspension amended from driving in violation of a driving restriction.
William R. Brown II, 53, Lisbon Road, Leetonia, was fined $200 for assured clear distance and no license amended from failure to reinstate a license.
Cortini D. Rankin, 21, West Main Street, East Palestine, was fined $175 and required 30 hours community service for resisting arrest.
Melinda Sue Schroeder, 28, Richardson Avenue, Negley, was fined $150, sentenced to 22 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension and use of an unauthorized plate.
Kirk L. Poole, 43, Oakdale Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $130 for no license and speeding.
Timothy W. Hippely, 44, Salem Grange Road, Salem, was fined $10 for no license amended from driving under suspension.
Giorgio M. Miceli, 33, Cuyahoga Falls, was fined $50 for speeding and a driving under suspension charge was dismissed.
Sherry L. Winiarski, 56, Orchard Road, Enon Valley, Pa., was fined $40 for speeding.
A theft charge against Glenn E. Bender, 36, Anderson Avenue, Wellsville, was dismissed. Bender had been accused for being involved in the theft of a washer, dryer and grandfather clock taken from a Commerce Street home last August.
A July 5 pretrial was set for Nicole Graef, 25, Rauch Road, East Palestine, charged with two counts of violating a temporary protection order for alleged voice mails left on a cell phone last Friday and Saturday.
A July 9 pretrial was set for Melissa L. Mills, 28, last known address West Pershing Street, Salem, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly taking from Edward Bennet's home a 100-year-old gold ring belonging to his late grandfather, numerous jars of 1890s coins, a silver coin set and pills. Court documents claim Mills then pawned the ring at Cashland on June 15.
A July 9 pretrial was set for Christopher C. Bowersock, 29, Oak Drive, Wellsville, charged with receiving stolen property and drug paraphernalia after he was allegedly found with syringes and a baggie of jewelry belonging to his mother in the waist band of his pants on Wednesday.
A July 9 pretrial was set for Timothy S. Smith, 28, Hartville, charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was found with brass knuckles and marijuana on Wednesday.
A July 19 pretrial was set for Tamica Kyser, 39, Warren, charged with OVI first offense, driving under suspension and speeding.
A July 23 pretrial was set for Dale A. McIlvain, 44, Rochester Road, Kensington, charged with driving under OVI suspension.
A July 23 pretrial was set for Scott A. Guiler, 55, Pearce Circle, Salem, cited with speeding.
A July 26 pretrial was set for Michale D. Jagel, 25, Boardman, cited with speeding.
A July 31 pretrial was set for Amanda S. Fortney, 30, Jones Drive, Salem, cited with failure to yield the right of way.
A July 31 pretrial was set for Jeremy A. Bender, 34, North Broadway, Salem, cited with public indecency after allegedly exposing himself to a case worker, who was inside his home on May 24.Bender is already a registered sex offender.
An Aug. 2 pretrial was set for Kyle J. Pierson, 19, East Ninth Street, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and a stop sign violation.
An Aug. 20 pretrial was set for Paris L. Lotze, 20, South Main Street, Columbiana, charged with speeding and two counts of no license.
