CANFIELD - Helen Eileen (Brunner) Durham, 90, of Canfield, died at 9:10 p.m. Monday at Hospice House in Poland.
She was born on Jan.2, 1922 in Salem to the late Alfred and Josephine (Cane) Brunner.
She has been a resident of the Salem, Austintown and Canfield area most of her life. She was employed during the war at Babcocks in Alliance, then in the deli at Sparkle in Cornersburg, and last as a line worker in the kitchen at Salem Community Hospital. She was a 1941 graduate of Salem High School and attended the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Richard Durham, whom she married on Oct. 13, 1977; daughters, Colleen Schultz and Donna (Arthur) Katser, both of Michigan, and Vicky (Dave) Perry of Minnesota; siblings, June (John) Herron of Leetonia, Jean (Jack) Albright of Salem and Marty (Harry) McBride of Canfield; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services will be observed at 11 a.m. Friday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Wilkens officiating. The burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Salem.
A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley.
