Katherine Winn and Adam Niederhiser were united in marriage on June 16 at Damascus Friends Church with Pastor Peter Fowler and Pastor Alex Feldman officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Julie Winn of Salem, and the granddaughter of Donald and Barbara Smith and Donovan and Marilyn Winn, both of Salem.
The bridegroom's parents are Len and Lois Niederhiser of Damascus, and the grandson of Doris Niederhiser of Salem, and Treva Miller of Damascus.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Nuptial music was provided by vocalist Cindy Smith, a cousin of the bride and pianist Martha Rogowsky.
The maid of honor was Amanda Thorne. Bridesmaids were Emily and Lindsay Winn, the bride's sisters. Olivia Winn, the bride's cousin, was the flower girl.
The best man was Eric Hippley. Groomsmen were Thomas and Jack Niederhiser, the bridegroom's brothers. Alessandro and Xander Smith were the ring bearers.
A reception was held at Salem Elks.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and is employed by Ohio Connections Academy as an eighth-grade math teacher.
The bridegroom graduated from Kent State University and is employed as a security officer by Akron Children's Hospital.
The couple honeymooned in the Great Smokey Mountains.
They reside in Damascus.
