Angels for Animals offers spay vouchers
CANFIELD- Angels for Animals is offering free and half-price spay surgeries for female dogs and cats of qualified low income residents. Vouchers are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis, on-site at Angels for Animals during regular shelter hours. Residents must provide proof of income and proof of eligibility for programs such as SSI or disability. Limit of two free vouchers per household, no limit on half-price.Angels for Animals is located at 4750 W. South Range Road. Family Fest set at Firestone Park
COLUMBIANA- For the second consecutive year, the Crestview-Columbiana leadership team of ADAPT Coalition is sponsoring Family Fest from 4 to 7 p.m. July 21 at Firestone Park. The free event is intended to provide alcohol and drug-free activities for the whole family and communicate to the community a core message of healthy lifestyles. Activities will include games, music, Bounce House, bungee run, cannonball blaster, face painting, food and a corn-hole tournament. The event will culminate with the awarding of bicycles, gift cards and other prizes. ADAPT, which stands for Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention Team, is an initiative by the Family Recovery Center in Lisbon. For information about ADAPT is available at www.adaptcoalition.org.
Antique Car Show set at Centennial Park
SALEM- Salem Area Visiting Nurse, Tri State Antique Car Club and the Salem Parks and Recreation Department will host an Antique Car Show from 5 to 8 p.m. July 27 at Centennial Park. There will be music and refreshments.

NEW WATERFORD - A planning and zoning meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Village Hall.
Greenway Bike Trail Benefit Walk/Ride
Support the Greenway Bike Trail at the Benefit Walk/Ride event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The event helps provide funding for the trail. A $5 contribution per participant ($15 T-shirts will also be available) helps defray costs encountered in maintaining the trail at a level desired by its users. Starting points will be at Trailhead 164 in Lisbon, Trailhead 558 in Franklin Square and Trailhead Washington Street in Leetonia. Water and snacks will be provided.
