LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Wednesday, Tadley D. Burt, 36, state Route 517, Columbiana, was sentenced to four days in jail and fined $100 for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for pushing Julie Burt to the ground, shaking her and shoving her face into a changing table on Jan. 22.
On Tuesday, Andrea G. Gooding, 28, South Main Street, Beloit, was fined $50 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.
A domestic violence charge against Donald A. Hahn, 26, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, was dismissed and Judge Mark Frost signed an order for Heather Boots, the alleged victim in the case, to be cited to explain why she should not be held in contempt for failure to appear for hearings. According to court document, Hahn was accused of physically attacking his sister on Feb. 19, before their mother got between them.
A July 26 pretrial was set for William T. Poling, 51, Van Buren Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence after allegedly striking his wife of 30 years in the face causing abrasions to her nose, mouth and left eye, along with a swollen right eye on Monday.
A July 30 court trial was set for Fred A. Bugay Jr., 25, Homer City, Pa., cited with commercial speed.
An Aug. 14 pretrial was set for Brian J. Joachim, 19, Cleveland, charged with failure to display a valid sticker, a seat belt violation and underage consumption after he was reportedly found with an opened cardboard case of Busch beer containing 17 cans in his vehicle on June 5.
