Runners start out during the Salem Lion's Club 5K at Memorial Park Saturday. There were 47 registered runners overall. Participants had the option to either walk one mile or run a 5K; all participants chose to run. All proceeds benefit the Lion's Club programs. (Salem News photo by Brittney Sadler)
