SEBRING - Calvin Dean Perkins, 87, of Sebring, died on Monday at his home.
He was born in Lisbon, the son of the late Edward and Lizzy (Early) Perkins.
Mr. Perkins was a Navy veteran, serving as an electrician 2nd mate. He retired from Transue and Williams.
Survivors include his son, Tom Young of Sebring; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine (Carrozzi) Perkins in 1982; and his son Kenneth in 2008.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Quint Bryan officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
