Salem - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 280 Millcreek Drive, Boardman, for Anna Laura Kenreich, 96, of the Courtyard at Lexington, Salem, who died Tuesday morning at Salem Community Hospital.
She had lived on the family farm from the time of her marriage until moving to Courtyard at Lexington one and a half years ago.
Anna Laura was born July 13, 1916, in Milford Center, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Loschky) Bishop.
Anna Laura was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League for many years. Anna Laura was very devoted to her family. She was a remarkable woman, farm wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and was dearly loved by all.
Her husband, Robert W. Kenreich, whom she married Dec. 31, 1939, died June 27, 1987.
She leaves her seven children, Ronald (Beth) Kenreich of Westerville, Ohio, Paul (Lorna) Kenreich of Baltimore, Ohio, David (Judy) Kenreich of Salem, Glenn (Cynthia Reynolds) Kenreich of New York City, Judith (William) Guegold of Mantua, Ohio, Mary Ellen(Caroline Mann) Kenreich of Portland, Ore., Janet (David) Miller of Seattle, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, Anna Laura was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Bishop and Robert Bishop; a sister, Martha Bosley; and a grandson, Nathan Guegold.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
