The Columbiana Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade will be 10 a.m. Nov. 17, not Dec. 17 as was previously reported.
In a story published Thursday regarding the Perry Township Trustees and a fire truck purchase, it was incorrectly stated that the trustees agreed to transfer money from two levies into the general fund to cover the cost. That's not what the trustees did. The trustees approved additional appropriations, part coming from the fire levy funds & part coming from the Fire Safety Forces levy funds, which will be used to purchase the truck. The money actually stays in those funds and is paid from those funds.
