SALEM REPORTS

- Police responded to a West Pershing Street home at 1:17 a.m. Sunday where a resident reported he had been outside walking with his wife and their children when she became upset and went back inside and locked the door. The fire department responded to open the door, but the wife was not inside. The complainant was told to call the department when she returned.

- Domingo Pedro Juan, 18, 668 E. Third St., Salem, was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Eduardo Mateo, 18, of the same address, was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and resisting arrest after police responded to the home at 1:25 a.m. Sunday where their father reported they were fighting.

- Officers responded to a large fight in a South Broadway Avenue parking lot at 2:40 a.m. Sunday and found several individuals actively fighting. They arrested Taylor W. Ray, 737 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem; and Corey M. Catania, 22, 527 Hickory Lane, Salem, for disorderly conduct.

- Police responded to the wooden playground area at Centennial Pool at 9:02 p.m. Saturday for a report of juveniles trespassing with possible drug paraphernalia. Officers found 16 teens in the area and advised them that the playground closed at 9 p.m.
