LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, Damien R. Roberts, 29, Saltwell Road, Lisbon, was fined $950, sentenced to 20 days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, failure to reinstate and marked lanes.

Thomas C. May Jr., 27, state Route 9, Kensington, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $750, had his license suspended for 180 days in jail and required 25 hours community service for parking on a highway, a seat belt violation, a stop sign violation and physical control amended from OVI first offense. A driving under suspension charge was dismissed.

Jonathan W. Wolfe, 29, First Street, Wellsville, was fined $200, had his license suspended for six months and required 30 hours community service for drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Additionally, Wolfe was fined $50 for fishing in the Ohio River without a license.

Jamie J. Rambo, 34, Pleasant View Drive, Lisbon, was sentenced to 165 days in jail and fined $100 for receiving stolen property. Additionally she was ordered to begin making payments toward $1,500 owed to AT and T for copper wire, which was cut from poles in the Wayne Bridge Road area on June 5 and sold to HMF Recycling by Rambo and an alleged accomplice.

David A. Tedder, 48, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, was fined $50 for open container, but credited $50 for serving a day in jail.

Richard A. Springer, 25, 18th Street, Wellsville, was fined $50 for fishing without a license in the Ohio River.

Gary E. Hunt, 62, Nellabrook Avenue, Alliance, was fined $50 for open burning after Salem police found a large pile of pallets and other items on fire and unattended behind a business in the 300 block of Mullins Street on Aug. 22.

A Sept. 27 pretrial was set for Christopher J. Mellott, 20, Foundry Hill, Salineville, charged with prohibitions for allegedly drinking while underage on Saturday.

A Sept. 27 pretrial was set for Keith R. Trevis, 29, Cherokee Lane, Columbiana, charged with OVI second offense, OVI refusal with prior in the past 20 years, failure to control and reckless operation.

An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Justin O. Smith, 28, West State Street, Salem, charged with driving under FRA suspension and reckless operation.
