LISBON - George W. Petties III, 28, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty Friday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to possession of drugs with a specification for having cocaine, digital scales and $1,223 in cash in his possession last Nov. 8. He faces up to 12 months in prison, a $2,500 fine and a five-year license suspension.
Edward A. Bolin Jr., 32, Water Street, Salineville, was sentenced to five years probation for breaking and entering and theft. Court documents state Bolin on last Sept. 29, broke into a garage on West Water Street, belonging to Roland Riggle, taking tools, metal items, as well as lawn and motor vehicle equipment. Additionally, Bolin took an antique stove, gas and propane tanks, a riding lawn mower and a forklift.
Dewayne A. McCullough, 26, Rigby Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of possession of drugs and was sentenced to 15 months in prison, but was granted credit for 448 days served. According to court documents, McCullough had about 18 grams of crack cocaine and more than 50 doses of heroin in his possession at his home on Rigby Street on Sept. 17, 2010, along with $1,337 in cash, digital scales, stun gun and knife.
