LISBON - Sheriff's deputies are investigating a report by a Hanoverton man reportedly was robbed at knifepoint at his home.

Blaze Bryan, Bayard Road, Hanoverton, reported at 11:45 p.m. Saturday a neighborhood friend stopped by his home where he was hanging out with two other friends, both of whom are 17 years old.

At one point, the man reportedly went out to the car to get a cigarette, came back to the porch and began to walk around for a few minutes. Then, Bryan said, he pulled a knife, placed it up to Bryan's face and neck and demanded all his money. The man went through his pockets and took more than $500, before getting into his car and leaving the area.

Deputies also spoke to the 17-year-old friends. One told deputies he grabbed the man's arm so he didn't cut Bryan's throat and had started fighting with him. Then the man took the money and left.

The second friend also confirmed Bryan's story. The matter is under investigation.
