West Branch Hall of Fame Committee announces inductees

West Branch Hall of Fame Committee has announced the Hall of Fame inductees for 2012 include community members Larry and Joanne Miller, former athletic director Mike Kovach, and athletic standouts Lisa Dennis, Nathan Sharp and Andy Lamancusa.

The inductees will be introduced on Sept. 14 before the West Branch High School home football game against the Alliance Aviators.

A reception to honor the inductees will be held immediately following the football game in the Meiter Athletic Building in back of the stadium.

The event is open to the public at no charge. The West Branch Alumni Association will host a tailgate barbecue outside the entrance gate to the stadium prior to the home varsity football game.

The event is open to all alumni and friends, free of charge.

On Sept. 15, the annual Hall of Fame Golf Scramble Tournament will be held at Westville Lakes Golf Course, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The event is also open to the public. Cost is$50 per golfer or $200 per four person team.

The cost includes breakfast, lunch, golf fees for 18 holes and golf cart. To register contact the superintendent's office at 330-938-9324.

On Sept. 15, the association will host a dinner at the high school in honor of the inductees.

Cost is $20 per adult. Reservations may be made by calling 330-938-9324. Social time begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The formal induction ceremony takes place in the West Branch community auditorium at 8 p.m.

The induction ceremony is free and open to the public.
