- A state Route 170, East Palestine, man reported at 1:15 p.m. Monday he left home at 7 a.m. and returned at noon to find someone broke his bedroom window by throwing a piece of cement block through the glass.

- Ken Krecken of Ohio Edison reported at 10:29 a.m. Monday someone stole a large amount of copper ground wire, copper plate and brass electrical connectors from a substation on state Route 7 in Fairfield Township. The theft of items happened sometime between noon Saturday and Monday morning. The estimated cost of replacing the items taken is about $3,000.

- A Church Hill Road, Lisbon, father reported at 12:08 p.m. Monday a 13-year-old boy assaulted his 10-year-old son at a bus stop on Friday afternoon. The older boy reportedly put a dog shock collar on the son's arm and shocked him, as well as another 10-year-old child. The father had also spoken to the school about the incident.

- David Soloman, state Route 45, Salem, reported at 6:29 a.m. Friday he and his ex-girlfriend live at the same home, but sleep separately. He wanted her removed after finding she had removed the air conditioner from the window to get into his bedroom without his permission. Deputies explained the eviction procedure. The ex-girlfriend, Brenna Perkins, reported Soloman became irate when he found her looking for some of her property in his bedroom, picked her up and shoved her to the floor. She signed a refusal to prosecute form. Solomon later called to report $25 missing from his vehicle and he was unable to find his car keys. He called deputies again at 5:30 p.m. Sunday to report someone took his X-Box 360 and controllers.

- A Churchill Road, Lisbon, woman reported at 8:15 p.m. Sunday she recently kicked a man off her property on Lisbon Road. The bank is about to take possession of the home and about all of the copper piping has been taken out. She claimed a neighbor saw the man pulling out of the house on Sunday. However, he claimed he was at his sister's house across the street and had not been on the property since he moved out.

- A fight was reported at Highlandtown Lake at 9:40 p.m. Friday. Deputies found two young girls and a young man there, who told them the girls' mother and her boyfriend had been in a fight, then the girls' father came and beat up the mother's boyfriend. Two adults were sitting in the vehicle, including a man who was highly intoxicated and covered in blood. The woman told deputies the man struck her, but wanted nothing done. He said his head had been slammed into a car door, but refused to give further details and refused medical treatment.

- A Rose Drive, Lisbon, man reported at 1:59 p.m. Sunday he came home with his new girlfriend and found his former girlfriend in his home gathering up some of their children's belongings. They fought before she left. Both signed refusal to prosecute forms.

- An Elwonger Road, East Palestine, man reported at 10:38 a.m. Sunday her mailbox and newspaper box had been vandalized.

- A Middle Street, Homeworth, man reported at 11:07 a.m. Sunday his fiancee's ex-husband has been calling and threatening them.

- A deputy on patrol smelled a strong odor of plastic burning near a home on the Old Lincoln Highway at 12:49 a.m. Saturday. Fearing a home or car on fire, he contacted John Barrett, West Point assistant fire chief. The fire department had been at the home earlier in the day and returned to get the home owner to put the fire out.

- A Metz Road, New Waterford, man reported at 4:35 a.m. Sunday he heard a bang outside and saw someone driving by with a passenger leaning out the window with a bat. He attempted to follow the vehicle and attempted to provide deputies with a license plate number.

- A Metz Road, New Waterford, woman reported at 5:41 a.m. Sunday someone also struck her mailbox.

- A West Harrison, Alliance, woman reported at 11:52 a.m. Sunday her husband was assaulted while at a home on Kevin Drive in the Country Squire Mobile Home Park. He was being treated at Alliance hospital.
