- On Wednesday afternoon deputies were able to contact the ex-husband of Michelle Pitts, Canal Street, Hanoverton, after she filed a telephone harassment complaint on Tuesday. He told deputies he understood and would call only to speak to his children, not his ex-wife.

- A 17-year-old girl reported at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday a man she knows assaulted her at about 1 a.m. She was asleep at a friend's home on Union Ridge Road, Negley, when her friend woke her to tell her someone was at the door asking for her. She went outside and after a short conversation, he reportedly assaulted her.

- A Y and O Road, Lisbon, woman reported at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday someone stole a large amount of jewelry from her home. On Monday she had gone to her jewelry box and found everything missing.

- A state Route 164, Lisbon, man reported at 9:16 a.m. Tuesday his son's ex-girlfriend's mother, who lives in West Virginia, has been making harassing calls to him.

- A McCracken Road, Salem, man reported at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday he was out in the yard when a blue car pulled in asking for directions. They left when he asked them to. He has "No Trespassing" signs on his property. Deputies suggested maybe a gate or cable would stop people from pulling into his driveway.

- Ray Guy, Hisey Road, New Waterford, reported at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday his work dispatcher told him he received a call from a man claiming to be from an auction house on state Route 14. The man reportedly told the dispatcher Guy's tractor trailer now belonged to them, because it has been left in the parking lot and the man would shoot anyone who came near it. Guy went before deputies arrived and moved it elsewhere. There was no damage to the vehicle and he was uncertain if the call made to the dispatcher was a prank or not.

- A Georgetown Road, Homeworth, woman reported at 6:48 p.m. Tuesday when she came home she found her screen ajar on her window, change, three rings and a necklace with charms missing from the bedroom. The jewelry was valued at $1,200.

- A Steubenville Pike, Wellsville, woman reported at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday her boyfriend's father came to their home highly intoxicated and wanting to fight. Her boyfriend and his father had argued and some pushing was involved, but the boyfriend did not want to pursue charges. He drove his father home before deputies arrived.

- Someone reported at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday someone was on a dirt bike riding on the mounds of dirt at the Columbiana Foundry, Lisbon Street, Columbiana. Deputies did not locate any dirt bikes.

- A Glasgow Road, Lisbon, man reported at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday he came home from work to grab some supplies when he found his basement ransacked and the safe pried open. Rare coins were taken from the safe. The matter is under investigation.

- Steve Roberts reported at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday there was damage to his rental property on state Route 39, Salineville. The renter reportedly dented the front door and put holes in the walls.

- Susan Mullen of Elkton Auto, Scroggs Road, Lisbon, reported at 3:58 p.m. Tuesday someone attempted to take a catalytic converter from a vehicle on their lot. The pipe around the converter had been cut on both sides.

- A Scotts Corners Road, Diamond, man reported at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday someone broke into their summer cottage on Lynchburg Road, breaking the lock on the window. A 42-inch orange Scotts lawn mower and a Husquavarna chain saw were both missing from the garage. The person left the lights on and the garage door up.
