Bulldogs win again

LAKE MILTON - Ryen?Kemp earned medalist honors with a 39 to lead the East Palestine golf team to a 164-175 victory over Jackson-Milton Wednesday at East Palestine Country Club.

Also for the Bulldogs (15-1, 13-1), Drew Wilson shot 41, and Alec Dumbauld and D.J. Bandy each added 42.

For the Bluejays (13-4, 13-1), Jacob Tharp recorded a 40 to lead the way.

Also for Jackson-Milton, Chance Proverb recorded a 43, Jacob Millereile tallied a 46 and Spenser Huzicker shot 46.

East Palestine's next match is Wednesday at the ITCL Tournament.

Tuesday, Jackson-Milton's Proverb earned medalist honors with 40, but East Palestine came away with a 174-178 victory over the Bluejays at Lakeside Golf Course.

Wilson and Phil Gerner each shot 43 to lead the way for the Bulldogs.

Also for East Palestine, Andy Ellis and Bandy each delivered a 44.

Also for Jackson-Milton (11-2 ITCL), Nick Householder recorded a 44, and Tharp and Huzicker each shot 47.

Monday, East Palestine defeated United, 172-186.

Kemp earned co-mealist honors by shooting a 39 to lead the way for the Bulldogs.

Also for East Palestine, Dumbauld and Gerner each delivered a 44, and Ellis tallied a 45.

Bradley Miller earned co-meadlist honors shooting a 39 to lead the way for the Golden Eagles.

Also for United, Kasen Smith shot 46, Hayden Wilson ended up with a 48 and Caleb Berdine delivered a 53.

Canfield 151, Beaver Local 169

CALCUTTA - Dom Carano earned medalist honors shooting a 37 leading the Canfield golf team to a 151-169 victory over Beaver Local Wednesday at Beaver Creek Meadows.

Individually for the Beavers (5-10), Landon Palma shot 39 to lead the way.

Also for Beaver Local, Troy Hudson delivered a 41, Emily Blaner recorded a 44 and Hayden Moore contributed a 45.

Beaver Local's next match is Monday against Poland at Knoll Run.

Edison 182, Indian Creek 185

BLOOMINGDALE -Three players shot 45, but in the end the Edison golf team edged Indian Creek, 182-185, Tuesday at Red Oaks.

Adam Ryan and Jimmy Marsh each shot 45 to lead the way for the Wildcats. Also, Dylan Jones and Preston Collins each shot 46.

Justin Dailey delivered a 45 to lead the way for the Redskins. Also for Indian Creek, Adam Freshwater and Ian McIntosh each shot 46 and Cody Hopkins contributed a 48.

The Edison golf team took a tight 182-185 win over Indian Creek Tuesday at Red Oaks Golf Course.

Columbiana 169, Lowellville 187, Wellsville 221

COITSVILLE - Columbiana's Joe Munyon earned medalist honors shooting a 41 leading the Clippers to a victory in a tri-match over Lowellville and Wellsville Wednesday at Bedford Trails.

The Clippers finished first with 169, the Rockets placed second with 187 and the Tigers ended up third with 221.

Vince Hynes shot 44 to lead the way for Lowellville.

Nick Bayer recorded a 50 to lead the way for the Tigers (3-15). Also for Wellsville, Travis Childers and George Andersone ach shot 55 and Noah Palma added a 67.

Wellsville will play in the ITCL Tournament Wednesday at Pines Lake.

Western Reserve 167, Southern Local 185

EAST LIVERPOOL - Payton?Snyder eanred medalist honors shooting a 38 to lead the Western Reserve golf team to a 167-185 victory over homestanding Southern Local Wednesday afternoon.

Also for the Blue Devils (13-2, 12-2), Ethan?Grimm chipped in with a 42, Alexi Cadle delivered a 43 and Nolan Snyder finished with a 44.

Doug Tice tallied a 42 to lead the way for the Indians (6-9, 6-8). Also for Southern Local, Jimmy?Gianone and Clayton?Snyder each ended up with 45, and Mitch Hartline tallied a 53.

Southern Local's next match is against American Spirit Academy at East Liverpool Country Club.
