Salem street department employee Duke Snavely adjusts a couple of tires on one of the three truckloads of tires that were dropped off in the municipal parking lot on E. Pershing St. Friday. The drive ran from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and by 1:54 p.m. 225 tires had been collected. Snavely said the tires will be taken to a recycler in Minerva for shredding, possibly on Monday.
