- Deputies went to a Hibbetts Mill Road, Wellsville, home at 11:18 p.m. Sept. 13 for an assault. Clara Allgood, 42, reported she was assaulted by Donald Russell, 46. She said they were having pizza when she got a call from her brother, and Russell became agitated and then began throwing her around and punched her in the face. She said that she threw a plastic cooler at him in defense and ran to a relative's home, and Russell used the cooler to break out the front windows in the trailer and windows on the side. Deputies looked for Russell but could not find him, although his truck was found in a ditch at the end of the driveway. His mother, Nancy Russell, then came to the home while deputies were there and began yelling at Allgood. Deputies told her and other relatives to leave the property. Donald Russell was later charged with assault and criminal mischief/interfering with the property of another.
