Louis R. "Dick" Hussar of Salem celebrated his 80th birthday Sunday at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Toni Hussar of New Springfield. Among the guests present were friends and family members, and Nora, his wife of 60 years, and his daughter, Linda (Ronald) Lutz.
Mr. Hussar was born on Sept. 16, 1932, in Salem, the son of the late Louis J. and Mildred Hussar. A master upholsterer, he was the owner of Hussar's Fine Furniture for 47 years, retiring in 2007.
