NORTH LIMA - The Majestic Sounds Quartet will be the featured group at the Victory Gospel Jubilee on Friday, Oct. 5 at the North Lima Business Complex in North Lima.
The southern gospel quartet from Wilmington, Ohio, will join Mary St. Clair from Fredricktown, Ohio, and the Golden Street Singers from Farmdale, Ohio, for a two-hour concert beginning at 7 p.m.
The Majestic Sounds Quartet was formed in February 2008 through the efforts of Jim Spradling, from Wilmington, Ohio, and Keith Petrequin from Waynesville, Ohio. Spradling, a veteran quartet singer, sings bass and Petrequin, who has been a soloist and music director, sings the baritone and, at times, tenor. Ben Russell from Butler, Ky., who previously sang with the Miami Valley Boys, Mansion City Quartet and the Gospel River Boys, is the group's tenor. Norman Patterson is the lead singer for the group. In addition to singing in the region, the quartet makes and annual tour through Florida and Alabama.
