- Loran Weingart, Coffee School Road, Salem, reported at 7:39 a.m. Thursday sometime overnight a Romney-Ryan campaign sign was stolen from her front yard.

- Alberta Frazier, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, reported at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday a man called requesting her doctor's name, address, her medications and her Medicare number. He then requested she call her doctor's office to verify the information. The nurse at her doctor's office told her she should never give out any information over the telephone.

- Denny Farmer, Fairfield Township road foreman, reported at 7:37 a.m. Thursday sometime overnight someone entered the garage on Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, by prying open the door. About 25 gallons of fuel is missing from the storage tank. This is the second time it has happened in the past two months.

- Tim Endicott, Butler Grange Road, Salem, reported at 6:16 a.m. Thursday he has been having problems with someone releasing his two dogs from their chains at the back of his property. It happened two nights ago, so last night he padlocked the chains to their collars. Thursday morning he found the collars undone and the dogs running loose. One came home, but he was still looking for the second.

- Chris Bastien, state Route 172, East Rochester, reported at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday neighbors were shooting in the area. Deputies checked, but found no one shooting.

- Lori Anderson, Spillway Road, Lisbon, reported at 11:42 p.m. Tuesday she was being chased by another vehicle on Depot Road. She pulled into a driveway on Depot Road and a passenger from the vehicle chasing her jumped out and was punching her window. When deputies arrived the man was extremely intoxicated and being held down by another man on the ground. According to witnesses, Jordan Smeltzer, Depot Road, Salem, had broken the window to his own vehicle with a beer bottle while in a drunken rage. Smeltzer told deputies Anderson broke it. She had been driving down the road at the time, according to witnesses. After several warnings, Smeltzer was charged with disorderly conduct and aggravated menacing.

- Quick Mart, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday a suspicious vehicle was sitting in the parking lot. Police found a woman sitting in her vehicle eating her dinner.

- Tammy McIlvain, Rochester Road, East Rochester, reported at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday her couch was missing when she came home. She is currently going through a divorce, but it was reportedly agreed upon she was taking the couch. She spoke to her husband, who denied taking it.

- Dominic Dileo, Brandon Drive, Wellsville, reported at 2:49 a.m. Tuesday his family found a vehicle stopped in a section of property on Shontz Drive and the driver, Betty Cline, a newspaper delivery carrier, asked them to show her where the road was located. She reportedly was not making sense, but did tell the family she was diabetic. The family contacted an ambulance and she was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital before deputies arrived. Damage on her vehicle indicated she may have driven through a wooden fence or something similar. Deputies checked the area, but could not find any property damaged.
