- Jessica R. Benner, 24, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was northbound on state Route 45 in Salem at 12:39 p.m. Thursday and waiting to turn left into a private drive when Sandra J. Custer, 72, Quincy Avenue, Columbiana, who was also northbound on Route 45, failed to stop in time and struck the back of a vehicle before going off the right side of the road and into a ditch. Custer was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
