Whitney Alyson Thayer weds Steven Roth Jeckavitch

Whitney Alyson Thayer and Steven Roth Jeckavitch were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony at 5:30 p.m. June 23at the Athletic Club of Columbus in Columbus.

The bride is the daughter of Curt and Lori (McNeelan) Thayer of Columbus, formerly of Salem. The bridegroom's parents are Jeff and Carol (Roth) Jeckavitch of Columbus, formerly of Salem.

The bride appeared in a white A-Line gown accented with crystal beading.

Jessica Higgs of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Emily Golay of Speedway, Ind., both served as maids of honor.

The bridegroom's brother, Mark Jeckavitch, and Jeff Hack, both of Columbus, formerly of Salem, served as best men.

The private reception that followed was also held at the Athletic Club.

The couple spent one week in St. Lucia and returned to Hilliard to reside.

The new Mrs. Jeckavitch is employed as a kindergarten teacher at St. Paul's Catholic Elementary School in Westerville.

Mr. Jeckavitch is employed full-time as an internal auditor for The Limited Brands in Columbus.
