Salem sweeps Marlington
SALEM - The Salem Lady Quakers earned a season sweep of Marlington with a straight-set win Tuesday 25-12, 25-10, 25-14 on Senior Night. Leading Salem were seniors Lindsey Foster, Sami Reedy and Katherine Stiff. Foster finished with nine kills and two blocks. Reedy added seven digs, and Stiff had 13 assists, two kills and two aces. Camrin Costal added seven kills, two blocks and two aces.
Salem (12-7, 9-4 NBC) plays tonight at Boardman. The freshman and jayvee teams will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the varsity to follow.
Columbiana bests WR
BERLIN CENTER - The Columbiana Lady Clippers dropped Western Reserve in straight sets Tuesday 25-20, 25-16, 26-24. Leading Columbiana (14-6, 10-2 ITCL Tier 2) was Shayla Ray with 11 points, six kills, four digs and 10 blocks. Cassidy Stoddard added 16 points, 17 assists, four aces and 15 digs. Cassandra Sampson had five points, 10 kills and 10 digs, and Bri Gingher had 17 digs and six points.
For Reserve (10-8, 6-4 ITCL Tier 2), Rachel Maslach had 12 points, 14 kills and eight assists. Linley Mamonis added seven points, six kills and a block.
United tops Springfield
HANOVERTON - United defeated Springfield in four sets Tuesday 25-16, 25-22, 15-25, 25-14. Leading United was Sam Spitler with four aces, six kills and eight digs. Emily Zehentbauer added 35 assists, and Sydney Moats had nine points.
For Springfield, Olivia Williamson had 14 points, seven kills and seven blocks.
Springfield won the jayvee game 25-14, 25-21. Kasey Kohler had nine points.
For United, Amanda Hall had three kills.
Crestview downs Lisbon
COLUMBIANA - Crestview topped Lisbon in four sets on Tuesday night 25-20, 25-15, 24-26, 25-22. Cassidy Ross had 16 digs and six blocks for the Lady Rebels (9-10). Lauren Harrold chipped in nine kills and three blocks while Courtney Waters had 16 digs, six aces and three kills.
Alexis Summers had nine points and eight kills for Lisbon (6-15). Hannah Hiscos also had six kills and Paulina Stollger had six killls and 13 blocks.
Crestview also won the jayvee game 25-19, 25-13. Sierra Rance had three kills and three aces. Bri Cope had four kills, tow aces and 15 assists for the Lady Rebels.
Crestview hosts Brookfield today while Lisbon takes on United on Thursday.
West Branch drops Canton South
BELOIT - West Branch defeated Canton South in five sets 23-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 15-11. Pavin Heath had 29 assists, 21 points and five aces for the Lady Warriors. Kaylee Manning added 19 points and three aces. Taryn Hahn also had ten kills while Amanda Linhart had eight kills.
Leading Canton South was Livi Forshey with 12 points and 31 assists.
Canton South won the jayvee contest in three sets. Paige Walsh led West Branch with 12 points and two aces. Lexington Pittman had seven kills and Sarah Weber had ten assists.
Range tops EP
EAST PALESTINE - South Range defeated East Palestine 25-16, 25-27, 22-25, 25-10 Tuesday. Leading the Lady Raiders (13-7, 8-5 ITCL Tier 1) was Lynnie Ritter with 12 kills and five blocks. Jordan Youngs added 23 digs, two aces and nine points. Ashley Shetter had 12 kills, 18 digs, 12 points and two aces.
For East Palestine (6-13, 2-11 ITCL Tier 1), Carley Sansenbaugher had 12 kills, 18 blocks and 13 digs. Megan Brown added 22 assists and four points, and Logan Gatchel had 10 points and four kills.
South Range won the jayvee contest 25-15, 25-11. Sarah Moretty had seven kills and five digs. Madeline Hiner added 10 assists and two aces.

COLUMBIANA - South Range dropped Columbiana 3-1 in soccer action.
Brooks Thomas had tow goals for the Raiders, and Andrew O'Leary added the third. Cole Frank and Landon Baer had assists.
