October 12, 2012
Salem News

A tow company driver picks up debris near a Jeep Liberty while another worker loads a Dodge Neon onto a truck after a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Southeast Boulevard at 4:42 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the Neon, Robert Hohider, 86, of Brookfield Street, Lisbon, was cited with failure to yield after stopping his southbound car at the stop sign on Southeast and pulling out, colliding with the eastbound Jeep driven on Franklin by Bernice Clark, 66, of Franklin Avenue, Salem. The Clark vehicle bounced off of the Hohider vehicle and struck a Chevy Silverado driven by Henry Price, 52, of West Calla Road, Salem, who was stopped northbound on Southeast. Both Hohider and Clark were taken to Salem Community Hospital, with EMT taking Hohider and KLG transporting Clark. Price wasn't injured. (Salem News photo by Mary Ann Greier)
