LISBON - A boy who ran from the Tobin Center on Tuesday evening was back in custody within an hour, according to County Sheriff Ray Stone.

The Tobin Center reported the boy was gone at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies and the Highway Patrol began searching for the boy, who was found by a trooper on state Route 172 near Depot Road. When the lights were activated on the patrol car, the boy reportedly ran off into a field.

However, Stone said shortly after he returned walking out of the field with his hands in the air and was returned to the Tobin Center. He was carrying his T-shirt and had no coat. The boy was from Stark County.
