Jill Anna Zehentbauer and Cory Thomas Stroup were united in marriage on July 7 at St. Bernard-St. Mary Catholic Church in Akron. Father Dan Reed officiated the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Neil and Lou Ann Zehentbauer of Hanoverton. The bridegroom is the son of Thomas and Karen Stroup of Shelby.
The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, was attired an ivory strapless drop waist ruffle skirt ball gown with crystal beaded embroidery, modified sweetheart neckline and a shoulder-length veil. She wore crystal jewelry and carried a bouquet of bright pink roses.
Katie Brown of Salineville, the bride's cousin, served as maid of honor in a bright pink and black gown. In matching gowns were bridesmaids, Leah Garwood of Leetonia and Mary Jo Brown of Salineville, both cousins of the bride; Alaina Zehentbauer of Hanoverton, the bride's sister-in-law; and Jamie Pace of Tallmadge.
The flower girl was Ava Mazurek and ringbearer was Triston Carr, niece and nephew of the bridegroom, respectively.
Ryan Lykins of Shelby served as the best man. Groomsmen were David Loomis of Kingsville, Zachary Stallard of Lucas, Justin Laubach of Dalton, and Spencer Hershey of Canton.
Approximately 250 guests attended the reception at Guy's Party Centre in Akron.
The bride graduated from United Local in 2008 and from the University of Akron in 2012 with a degree in radiologic technology. She is currently employed as an office manager at Med Works Urgent Care in Green.
The bridegroom graduated from Shelby High in 2007 and from the University of Akron in 2011 with a degree in business finance. He is employed at Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative in Canton.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Canton.
