Michelle Kay Rodriguez and Russell Wells Detwiler II, both of Defiance, are announcing their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dexter and Janis Benecke of Ridgeville Corners. She is a graduate of Archbold High School and employed as a bus monitor for Head Start in Defiance.
The prospective bridegroom's parents are Russell and Marsha Detwiler of Lisbon. He graduated from Southern Local School and is employed as a Local 8 union electrician.
