- Tom Smith, Shelly Paving Co. in Twinsburg, reported at 9:08 a.m. Wednesday they had equipment parked at Y and O Road and Liverpool Road overnight and someone stole all the batteries. Additionally, someone broke out the windows from a F-450 pickup in order to open the hood. Between six and 10 batteries were missing, mostly large diesel batteries. Diesel fuel was siphoned from the equipment. A five-foot flat blade was taken from the back of a tractor.
- David Trimble, Lisbon Street, Hanoverton, reported at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday another man had been calling and threatening to kill him after Trimble got back together with his wife, Kathleen Trimble. After listening to threatening statements being made on a speaker phone, deputies attempted to find the man making the threats at his home.
A young girl there said he was not home. She called him, but he would not tell her where he was.
Then on a second call he told her he got a ride to Hanoverton and would be locked up for a number of years. Deputies went back to the Trimble home and waited, but the man did not show up.
