LISBON - A Rogers woman has been charged with vehicular homicide in the death of an East Palestine woman last March.
The Columbiana County grand jury issued an open indictment for Ashley R. Clark, 23, Peace Valley Road, Rogers, charged with vehicular homicide, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Clark is accused of negligently causing the death of Melissa K. Gorby on March 12.
According to reports at the time, shortly before 2 p.m. Gorby had been driving northbound on state Route 165/170 (North Market) just north East Palestine when her Dodge Spirit was struck by a Dodge Caravan driven by Clark. Gorby was pronounced dead at the scene, while Clark was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
