- WINONA - The Winona Friends Church on Whinnery Road will hold a baked pork chop dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. today in its Family Life Center. The meal consists of pork chops, mashed potatoes, vegetable, dessert and beverage. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Carryouts are available. For more information call 330-222-1551.

- COLUMBIANA - Super Bingo Sunday games start at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Jude Parish, 180 Seventh St. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. for early seating. A $25 donation entitles you to a free dauber, coffee and pop for the entire day, and cards for all regular games. Specials are sold separately. A total of $3,400 in cash prizes will be awarded, including a $1,000 guaranteed coverall. Lunch foods and baked goods will be available for purchase.

- WASHINGTONVILLE - The " Soup to Go" drive-thru will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Robbins United Methodist Church, 100 High St. Different varieties of homemade soups are available in quarts starting at $6 each. For more information call 330-427-2035.

- FRANKLIN SQUARE - A soup luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Franklin Square United Methodist Church, 37615 Olde State Route 558. A selection of soup, sandwiches and pie will be available. Soup to go will also be available.

- SALEM - The Calvary Baptist Church's Harvest Dinner begins at noon Sunday at the church. Sunday school starts at 9:45 a.m., followed by morning worship at 11 a.m. and evening worship after the dinner.

- COLUMBIANA - A bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 9 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Zion Hill Church, 14550 New Buffalo Road. In addition to craft and rummage tables, there will be lunch items, baked goods and home-canned items available.

- ROOTSTOWN - The board of the Youngstown Diocesan Council of Catholic Women will meet at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 17 at St. Peter of the Fields, 3487 Old Forge Road, Rootstown. All Catholic women in the Diocese of Youngstown are invited. Doors open at 9 a.m. with a light breakfast provided by the women of the parish. There is no charge to attend, however, reservations are required by Nov. 12 by calling Rosemary Wetshtein at 330-296-6817 or Bonnie Workman at 330-497-1992.

- ALLIANCE - One Way Kidz will host a pancake breakfast fund raiser from 8 to 10 a.m. Nov. 10 at Applebee's in Alliance. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 3 to 10 . All proceeds from the event will be donated to the One Way Kidz at Crossroads Ministries for their winter vacation Bible school. For tickets call Krysta Dennison at 330-397-3828. The deadline to purchase tickets is Nov. 4.

- NORTH LIMA - The Calvary United Methodist Church will hold its monthly drive-thru chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Nov. 8, or until sold out. Cost is $6. The meal consists of a stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. A portion of each month's profits is used for missions. - NEW WATERFORD - Local veterans will be honored during the morning service at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 11 at the East Fairfield United Methodist Church. - COLUMBIANA-God's Quad, southern gospel singers from Columbiana County, will be in concert at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Zion Hill Church of the Brethren. The church is located at 14550 New Buffalo Road. For information call 330-482-4446.

- WASHINGTONVILLE-A cleaning supplies and health and beauty products give-away is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Robbins United Methodist Church, 100 High St. For information call 330-427-2035.

- GREENFORD-The Greenford Lutheran Church at 7450 W. South Range Road will serve its annual roast beef dinner, on Nov. 12, hosted by the Men's Group of the church. Seatings are at 4 and 5:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for ages 3-11 and free for children under 3. For reservations call 330-533-0786 or the church office at 330-533-5324. Walk-ins are welcome and carryout available. Proceeds benefit Levi Gaskins, a 12-year-old sixth-grader at South Range who has cancer. There will also be a raffle for a quilt. Proceeds from the quilt raffle will go to the Youth Fund.

- SALEM-Free lunches will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 1240 N. Ellsworth Ave. The meals are available on Nov. 3, 8, 10, 17 and 22 and Nov. 28 through Dec. 2.

- NEW WATERFORD - The East Fairfield United Methodist Church will hold its annual Election Day Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 6 in the fellowship hall at 45675 state Route 558. A soup and sandwich luncheon will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Adult and children's clothing, household treasures, baked goods, homemade candy and a book sale will be featured. New this year is a Bargain Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7 when all remaining items will be sold at $1 per bag.
