Betty Jean (Eibling) Ryan

SALEM - Betty Jean (Eibling) Ryan, 81, of Goshen Township died at 3:22 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Community Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 15, 1931, in Payne, a daughter of the late Royal and Charlotte (Cook) Eibling.

She had been a resident of the area since 2004, but resided in Florida, Las Vegas, and in the New Garden area. She had been an accountant and last served with the Ohio Auditor's office.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Price of Salem; two sisters, Grace and Marcele Anderson, both of Indiana; a brother, John (Shirley) Eibling of Van Wert; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her second husband, John Ryan, and two sons, Michael and Douglas Coons.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Sylvia Beard officiating.

The burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Donations to the American Arthritis Foundation.
