Veterans Day lunch planned at Jerusalem Lutheran

COLUMBIANA - Jerusalem Lutheran Church preschool at 415 S. Main St. is sponsoring a Veterans Day lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Sit-down and carryout is available. The menu will include vegetable and tomato soup and barbecue chipped ham and egg salad sandwiches. Proceeds will go to the preschool's scholarship fund with matching funds from Thrivent Chapter 30766.

Chicken dinner offered at Leetonia First United

LEETONIA - Leetonia First United Methodist Church at 50 Lisbon St. is having a "drive by" chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 15, or until sold out. The dinner includes a stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $7. Customers do not have to get out of their car, they just drive by at the front of the church, someone will take your order and money, and then bring your dinner or dinners out to your car. All proceeds go to repair and renovate the foyer area of the church.

Breakfast set at Damascus United Methodist Church

DAMASCUS-The Damascus United Methodist Church will host its all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Nov. 17. Proceeds will go in the youth director's fund.

Cookie walk, craft show

planned at Winona Church

WINONA - The Hazel Circle of the Winona United Methodist Church is hosting its annual Cookie Walk and Craft Sale from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 1 at the church, 32114 Winona Road. A wide variety of cookies will be sold for $4 per dozen.

Breakfast buffet set at North Lima Mennonite Church

NORTH LIMA - A breakfast buffet available from 7 to 10 a.m. Nov. 24 at the North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive. Donations will be accepted for the all-you-can-eat breakfast or brunch. Items on the buffet include eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, coffee, orange juice, and other beverages.
