Past District Governors of Lions meet

The Past District Governors of Lions Clubs District 13-D held its annual banquet on Oct. 13 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Special guests were current District Governor John Woodside from the Jackson Township Lions Club in Canton and wife, Midge, and spouses of the past district governors. After dinner, a brief business meeting followed and a moment of silence held for the 24 deceased members who have passed on. Governor Woodside gave his state of the district address. District 13-D is comprised of 53 Lions clubs in the counties of Mahoning, Trumbull, Portage, Stark and Columbiana. Past District Governor Donald Heldman of the Wellsville Lions Club chaired the event.
