Firefighters received a call to Salem Community Hospital at 3:53 p.m. Friday after being called by State Alarm. Engine 1 and 11 responded. The problem was found to be an overheated hydraulic motor in the hydraulic tank for the main lobby elevator. Power was shut down and a repair man was on the scene prior to firefighters clearing the scene.
