- William Winn, Seacrist Road, Salem, reported at 8 a.m. Saturday he received a Ruger Blackhawk .44 Magnum pistol from his brother-in-law who lives in Germantown and that his brother-in-law who is a mechanic said he got it as payment from a man from the Dayton area who wanted him to do some work on his car. Winn reported that he was given the gun to see if he wanted to use it for deer hunting and requested deputies see if the gun was legitimate. After conducting a search of the serial number on the weapon deputies learned the gun was reported stolen in 2010. Winn then turned the gun over to the deputies.

- Bob Wheaton, Crestview Road, Leetonia, reported at 11:31 p.m. Friday he was threatened by a man while he was in prison.

- Lori Henderson reported at 10:21 p.m. Friday her sister Diane Henderson had her 9-month-old son and refused to give him back to her. Deputies spoke with Lori, who was highly intoxicated, and learned she had gotten into a fight with a family friend while at her sister's house trying to get her child back. Diane Henderson told deputies she did not want Lori to have the child while she was intoxicated and the child's father also said that the child should remain in Diane Henderson's care for the time being.

- Deputies went to the area of Y&O Road at 9 p.m. Friday on a report of a suspicious man complaining he could not feel his legs. Deputies spoke with David Seneff Jr., of North Benton, who said that he had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend in East Liverpool and had decided to walk to a friend's house in Alliance and could no longer feel his legs. Deputies contacted his friend, who said that he had looked for David in East Liverpool for two hours but could not find him. David said he had waited for his friend but then left and started walking. Deputies told David to remain where he was and that his friend would come pick him up.

- Carol Haugh, Churchill Road, Lisbon, reported at 5:33 p.m. Friday people were in the woods. Deputies searched the area but did not find anyone.
