Salem News

SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1953 is still accepting orders for the popular Lois Mountz prints, "Remembrances of Salem" Past and Present, which are ideal for Christmas gift giving.

These full-color prints depict the former Salem High School, Friends Meeting House, Burchfield Gardens, Broadway Avenue and State Street. The past series illustrates the old town hall, Fourth Street School, Lease Drug and the old post office and train station. These prints complement any home and make perfect wedding, Christmas or anniversary gifts.

Cost is $15 each or any four for $50 plus postage if necessary. To order contact Denny Herron at 330-337-3995 for local delivery or USPS shipment. Prints are also available for cash and carry pickup at the SHS Alumni Office, 330 E. State St., weekday mornings. All proceeds will benefit the Salem High School Alumni Scholarship Fund.
