- Trooper Brian Kavanagh, 40, was westbound on East Pershing in Salem and stopped his cruiser at the intersection with Park Avenue at 7:42 p.m. Nov. 19. He was followed by a vehicle driven by Andrew S. Klein, 22, Monroe Street, Salem. Initially, Klein reportedly attempted to pass the cruiser using the eastbound lane, but then stopped and backed up returning to the westbound lane. Klein then began moving toward the cruiser and struck it from behind. Kavanagh, who had unbuckled his seat belt and had one foot outside the cruiser, which was in park, was treated for minor injuries at Salem Community Hospital. Klein was cited with assured clear distance.

- Kathy J. Grimm, 52, Dobson Road, Salineville, was westbound on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 12:40 p.m. Monday when her vehicle was struck by a scrap metal object which fell from a westbound semi truck in front of her. The driver of the truck, Garry W. Green, 59, Louisville, driving for Big Dawgs Inc., was cited with unsecured load. Neither Grimm nor her passenger were injured.

- Donna J. Swanson, 36, Church Hill Road, Lisbon, was southbound on Lower Elkton Road in Elkrun Township at 7:53 a.m. Nov. 23, when she drove off the left side of the road and struck a wire fence and a tree. She was taken to Salem Community Hospital by KLG with minor injuries. Swanson was cited for reasonable control.

- Jacob E. Miles, 18, Glenn Road, Lisbon, was westbound on East Liverpool Road in Madison Township at 8 a.m. Nov. 22, when he slid off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned. He reported to troopers he swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. Miles was listed with minor injuries and cited with both unsafe vehicle and speeding.

- Terrence P. Carli, 58, Louisville Street, Homeworth, was eastbound on state Route 172 in Hanover Township at 12:05 p.m. Nov. 19 when Vonda K. Lanney, 46, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon, pulled out of a driveway. Lanney was struck by Carli, who was on a motorcycle. Carli's injuries were listed as minor. Lanney was cited with failure to yield.

- Scott L. Bell, 58, Orwell, was northbound on state Route 7 in Fairfield Township at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 16 when a southbound vehicle driven by Brandon J. Gates, 21, Church Street, New Waterford, turned left onto state Route 46. Gates was struck by Bell. Neither driver nor Gates' passenger were injured. The drivers gave conflicting statements about the light at the intersection and no citation was issued.

- An unknown semi truck driver for Talon Express Holding LLC was pulled over disabled on the berm facing eastbound on U.S. 62 in Butler Township at 8:31 a.m. Nov. 15 when the truck was struck from behind by a car driven by Taylor N. Gamble, 17, Butler Grange Road, Salem. Gamble went left of center and was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by John C. Boston, 45, Canton. Boston was taken by Beloit EMS to Mercy Hospital with minor injuries. Taylor was taken by Damascus EMS to Salem Community Hospital with serious injuries. Taylor was also cited with assured clear distance.

- Gregory A. Palovich, 66, McDonald, was southbound on state Route 11 in Elkrun Township at 10:10 a.m. Nov. 11 when he struck a turkey trying to take flight across the roadway. The bird damaged the mirror of the vehicle, but was not located.

- Dalton J. Flory, 19, Depot Road, Lisbon, was reportedly southbound on state Route 164 in Center Township at 6:45 a.m. Nov. 11 when he lost control going off the left side of the road and hitting an embankment. Flory said a deer ran in front of him. He was cited with reasonable control.

- Josephine N. Lee, 16, state Route 39, Wellsville, was northbound on Steubenville Pike in Washington Township at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 17 when she went off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and overturned. She was taken to East Liverpool City Hospital by Tri County with minor injuries. She was cited with reasonable control.

- Alexandra Christene Williams, 17, McCormick Run Road, Lisbon, was cited with reasonable control after driving off the right edge of Cameron Road in Madison Township at 9:39 a.m. Nov. 10. Williams struck an embankment, overturned and came to rest on the wheels. She was uninjured.

- Daniel James Esenwein, 19, Metz Road, Columbiana, was westbound on Township Road 1777 in Fairfield Township at 6:45 a.m. Nov. 8 when he stopped suddenly and was struck from behind by a following vehicle. The other vehicle fled the scene.

- James M. Bowersock, 25, Clarkson Road, Rogers, was eastbound on Clarkson Road in Middletown Township at 1 a.m. Nov. 6 when he went off the north side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned. Bowersock said he swerved to avoid a deer. He was cited with reasonable control and taken to Salem Community Hospital with minor injuries.

- Brenda S. Chase, 46, state Route 45, Wellsville, was northbound on state Route 45 in Madison Township at 5:25 p.m. Nov. 5 when she swerved to avoid a deer and went off the right side of the roadway striking a ditch and coming to rest next to a culvert. Chase was cited with OVI and failure to control. She was uninjured.
