The Bertram Inn in Aurora was the site of the double-ring wedding ceremony of Julie Jensen and Kurt Del Favero on Sept. 2. Wayne Doberstyn officiated at the couple's 5 p.m. ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by Tonya Daugherty.
The mothers of the couple presided at the unity candle lighting. Readings were provided by Lisa Bezon, the bride's cousin, and Sara Szweda.
Zach Bezon, the bride's cousin, distributed wedding programs.
Brooks Bezon, the bride's godson, and Jake Bezon, the bride's cousin, attended to the wedding runner.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Joyce Jensen of 4734 Depot Road, Salem.
The bridegroom's parents are William and Kay Del Favero of 956 E. 15th St., Salem.
Escorted and given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in a one-shoulder short dress in white. The gown was enhanced with an ostrich feather skirt and the bodice was covered with lace and crystals. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white peonies with white ostrich feathers and crystals. Her hairpiece was comprised of white ostrich feathers held together with a crystal hair pin.
Emery Jensen, the bride's niece, was the flower girl.
The ring bearer was Cole Jensen, the bride's nephew.
The bride received a bachelor's of science degree in nursing from Kent State University. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Hillcrest Hospital.
The bridegroom is the co-owner of Great Looks Painting. He graduated from KSU with a bachelor's of arts degree.
Approximately 90 guests attended the reception at the Bertram Inn. Out-of-town guests attended from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, New York and New Jersey.
A dinner was held the night before the wedding at the El Camino restaurant in Aurora, hosted by the bridegroom's parents.
Following a honeymoon to Mexico, the couple resides in Lakewood.
