Heritage Christian 60, Sebring 53

SEBRING - Heritage Christian defeated Sebring 60-53 Friday.

Leading Sebring was Dylan Mick with 22 points. Josh Hurford added 11.

Full statistics were not reported.

Sebring (0-1) hosts Lordstown Tuesday.

Western Reserve 50, Crestview 42

BERLIN CENTER - Western Reserve proved too much for visiting Crestview in a 50-42 win Friday. Leading the Blue Devils was Nolan Snyder with 15 points. Payton Snyder added 13 points, and Dalton Korda had 12 points and seven rebounds.

For Crestview, Robert Logan had a team-high 18 points. Collin Gilbert added eight.

Western Reserve (1-0) travels to Lake Christian Academy Tuesday.

Crestview (0-1) plays Tuesday at Columbiana.

SALINEVILLE - Southern Local got its season off on the right foot with a 63-36 win over Lisbon Friday.

Leading Southern was Luke Griffith with a game-high 29 points including seven 3-pointers. Jared Shilot and Kyler Woodward added 10 points each.

For Lisbon, Josh Liberati had 16 points, and Corey Brammer added nine. Josh Craig had eight rebounds and five points.

Southern also won the J.V. game 55-27. Clayton Cunningham had eight points for the Indians. Mike Evans had 10 for Lisbon.

Southern (1-0) plays tonight at Edison.

EAST PALESTINE - Youngstown Christian outlasted East Palestine Friday 49-44.

D. Williams had 14 points for Youngstown.

For East Palestine, Austin Reiser had 15 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks. Steve Parker had 15 points, Nate Keylor had six assists, and Zack MayRobb added five steals.

East Palestine won the J.V. game 33-30. Colin Reidy had seven points.

COLUMBIANA - South Range picked up a season-opening road win at Columbiana Friday 47-41. Leading the Raiders was Tyler Beverly with 14 points. Jake Arsuffi added 12.

For Columbiana, Kyle Bryan had a team-high 18 points.

South Range (1-0) hosts Salem Tuesday.

Columbiana (0-1) hosts Crestview.
