- A Canal Street, East Rochester, woman reported at 5:27 a.m. Wednesday her ex-boyfriend was threatening he was going to leave work early, damage her car and take their child. The two recently broke up. At 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, deputies saw a man sitting on the porch of her home and questioned him. He was identified as the ex-boyfriend and claimed he had been living at the house for the past two years before his girlfriend threw him out three days ago. He was there to see his daughter and refused to leave. Deputies told him to contact his attorney about obtaining visitation.

- A state Route 14, East Palestine, man reported at 4:41 p.m. Tuesday he pumped $10 in gas at Gorby's in Negley sometime between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Monday. He paid with a $50 and received two $20s. On Tuesday he said he realized one of the $20s was counterfeit.

- A Logtown Road, Lisbon, man reported at 4:01 p.m. Tuesday someone stole a shotgun out of his closet. The gun was valued at $200.

- Zachary Sabol, Lisbon Road, Lisbon, reported at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday he received several phone calls from a number he does not recognize and the person was asking to buy drugs.

- A Salem Alliance Road, Salem, woman reported at 3:39 p.m. Tuesday a woman has been verbally harassing her daughter. Deputies spoke to the other woman, who claimed the daughter was the one harassing her.

- A Georgetown Road, North Georgetown, woman reported at 5:44 p.m. Tuesday her 17-year-old daughter is being unruly. She reportedly grabbed the mother's wrists after the mother took a phone from her. The girl then left and did not return for a few hours.

- Ron Baker, Scott Mill Road, Rogers, reported at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday someone was violating a protection order. Jewel Reed, who was charged with domestic violence on Monday and served a protection order when she was released from jail on Tuesday, was found by deputies at the home of her parents on Tuesday afternoon. When she saw deputies she ran out the back door, down a wooded embankment and across other private property. Deputies warned her to stop or a taser would be used. She went through a creek, stopped at the top of the creek bank and yelled she did not want to go back to jail. She was ordered to the ground and taken into custody on a protection order violation charge. Reed's mother, Starlynne, whom she had been ordered to stay away from, told deputies Reed came into the house, started yelling at her, pushing her and threatening her.

- A man reported at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday someone stole his riding lawn mower from the Little Rams football field sometime between Saturday and Monday.

- A state Route 558, Columbiana, woman reported at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday someone came to her home selling air filtration systems. A younger white man handed her a box containing an air filter and claimed it was free if she purchased an air filter system. She refused it and told them to leave. They were driving a white minivan.

- Josh Perrine, Lowmiller Road, Minerva, reported at 9:46 a.m. Wednesday he was working in Michigan Wednesday morning when he received a phone call from the Stark County Sheriff's Department telling him they found his Jeep wrecked and abandoned in a field. He had spoken to his sister, who said the Jeep was in his driveway on Tuesday morning.
