POLAND - Shirley V. Hosack, 82, of Poland, died at 2:40 p.m. Monday at the Assumption Village in North Lima.
Born Jan. 5, 1930, in Salineville, she was the daughter of Homer and Mary Hazel Faloon.
Mrs. Hosack had been employed as a secretary for the Herriott Trucking Company in East Palestine. She was a member of the Mount Olivet United Church of Christ in North Lima.
Survivors include her husband, Earl M. Hosack, whom she married Sept. 2, 1951; a son, Capt. James (and Carrie) Hosack, USN of Woodbridge, Va.; a brother, Richard (and Jill) Faloon of Napa, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home in East Palestine with the Rev. Jerry Kruse officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery in East Palestine.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
