SALEM - Jennings Winford Douglas, 75, of Salem, died at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday at his home.
Born March 6, 1937, in Webster Springs, W. Va., he was the son of the late Charlie and Arlie (Hammer) Douglas.
Before his retirement 15 years ago, Mr. Douglas had been a self-employed truck driver for 45 years.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Lori Douglas; a son, Jennings Allen (Trudy) Douglas of Salem; four daughters, Debra (Greg) Thompson of Alliance, Connie (Donald) Greathouse, Sue (Brent) Baddeley and Julie (Mike) Leyman, all of Salem; three sisters, Melva Wolfcomber of Springfield, Helen Hough of Danese, W. Va., and Thelma McIntosh of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a brother, Denver Douglas of Springfield; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Charlotte Douglas, preceded him in death on June 18, 2002.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
