LISBON - The Columbiana County Archives and Research Center will be closed from Dec. 19 through Jan. 1. The center will reopen at 9 a.m. Jan. 2.

Center to celebrate 'Zumba' Christmas

EAST PALESTINE - East Palestine Middle School will present "A Christmas Carol" at 7 p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium. Admission is a donation for Social Concerns.
Drawing for train set at Lou Holtz Hall
EAST LIVERPOOL - A drawing for the Keystone Pennsylvania train set is slated at noon Friday at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame. Sign-ups are accepted during the Polar Express Train display from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The train must be picked up by noon Dec. 24 for Christmas delivery.
Toy donation will get you into game
SALEM - The Salem Lady Quakers basketball team is coming together with the West Branch Warriors for a common cause, providing a child in need a toy on Christmas. During the Salem vs. West Branch game on Saturday, a new unwrapped toy valued at $5 or more will provide free admission into the game. Games begin at noon. Breakfast buffet set at Salem Masons
SALEM-A public breakfast buffet will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Salem Masonic Building, 788 E. State St. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under age 10 and free for children under 2. The menu offers pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, homemade sausage gravy, biscuits, homefries, toast and fruit cocktail.
