LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Jan. 24 pretrial was set for Winfred A. Aderhold, 77, Fink Road, Kensington, charged with vehicular homicide and vehicular manslaughter. Court documents allege Aderhold was driving southbound on Westville Lake Road in Knox Township on Oct. 2 when she ran a stop sign at the intersection with Georgetown Road and struck another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle, Rick E. Cyders, 64, Homeworth Road, Homeworth, died as a result of the crash.

Brandie L. Shasteen, 34, East Seventh Street, Salem, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a theft charge. Court documents allege Shasteen stole two of her mother's checks and wrote them for cash, forging her mother's signature to obtain $150 and $100 in August.

Tim A. Hanna, 35, State Street, Leetonia, was fined $725, had his license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and speeding.

Daniel P. Rhattigan, 37, Las Vegas, Nev., was fined $675, had his license suspended for six months, sentenced to three days in jail and required 20 hours community service for OVI first offense and marked lanes.

Angela L. Craft, 38, Maple Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $300 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Jonathan S. Percy, 21, state Route 46, New Waterford, was fined $250, sentenced to five days in jail and required 25 hours community service for 11 counts of criminal damaging for five mailboxes, five street signs and a newspaper box damaged in the area of Hatcher and Creek roads, as well as Silliman Street, New Waterford.

Patrick L. Griffith, 33, Maple Hill Road, Salineville, was fined $250 for driving under suspension and a lane violation.

Ted S. Bennett, 45, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail and required 40 hours community service for driving under OVI suspension.

Howard Lightner, 32, Foundry Hill Road, Salineville, was fined $250 and sentenced to 165 days in jail for receiving stolen property for a grandfather clock stolen from a home on Rollercoaster Road, Lisbon, which was found in his apartment on North Beaver Street on Oct. 16.

Brandon S. Farmer, 28, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $200 and required 30 hours community service for weapons while intoxicated after neighbors reporting hearing numerous gunshots prior to an explosion at an Aetna Street home in the early morning hours of April 1. Farmer reportedly admitted firing several rounds in remembrance of a friend.

Lonnie A. Wilson, 24, North Main Street, North Georgetown, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from assault. An obstructing official business charge was dismissed. Wilson was involved in a fight in the road in front of Fernangle's and the Side Door in Salem.

Gordon L. Vinton, 35, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from commercial speeding.

Andrea M. Aller, 49, Burgettstown, Pa., was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Daniel R. Ree, 49, McClure Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $100 for speeding.

Justin J. Schneider, 21, state Route 518, Lisbon, was found in violation of his probation and sentenced to 117 days in jail for criminal damaging, attempted theft, possession of criminal tools and three counts theft.

A driving under suspension citation against Jeffrey W. Steffel, 30, Chris Avenue, Washingtonville, was dismissed.

A Jan. 3 pretrial was set for Jason E. Cope, 37, East Main Street, New Waterford, charged with possession of marijuana, two counts of domestic violence and eight counts passing bad checks. Among the charges, Cope is accused of attacking Chelsea Cope and her 15-year-old daughter, forcing the girl to flee to the Vittle Village and Chelsea Cope to walk to her mother's home in Pennsylvania in order to get away.

A Jan. 24 pretrial was set for Lucas A. Styen, 26, Carbon Hill Road, East Palestine, charged with OVI second offense and failure to control.

A Jan. 29 pretrial was set for Benjamin M. Cronin, 33, Township Road 289, Hammondsville, cited with physical control and drug paraphernalia for an alleged pipe used for smoking narcotics.

A Jan. 31 pretrial was set for Stacy R. Mercer, 38, Georgetown Road, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A Feb. 12 pretrial was set for James M. Bowersock, 25, Clarkson Road, Rogers, cited with driving under suspension and failure to control
