CALCUTTA - The Bulldogs ran away from the Beavers.

The Poland girls basketball team jumped out to an early double-digit lead and did not look back in recording a 59-37 victory Thursday night over Beaver Local at the Beaver Dome.

With the loss, the Beavers drop to 1-8 on the season.

Jade Favre finished with a team-high eight points to lead the way for the Beavers.

Also for Beaver Local, Sierra Wright and Danna Talbott each tallied six points, Tannar Dolhun and Hailieigh Ketchum each collected four points and Ravenna Cianni contributed three points. Finally, Courntey Ricciardi and Allison Kennedy each delivered two points.
