‘Hoops for Troops’ planned at South Range

BEAVER TOWNSHIP- Lexi Naples and Allison Oliver, senior members of the South Range Raider girls basketball team, will host a "Hoops For Troops" fund raiser to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project during the varsity girls basketball game versus East Palestine at 7 p.m. Thursday at South Range High School.

Kady Richards, 2013 Military Child of The Year Finalist by Operation Homefront, will open the event with the National Anthem.

Fund raising efforts will include Hoops For Troops T-shirts for $10 (free admission to game with purchase), "Wounded Warrior Armbands" for $5, half-court shooting contest for $1 (winner receives a $10 Pizza Hut gift card) and Wounded Warrior pins and stickers available for donation box contributors.
