Suzie Rezenom and Aaron Esbenshade of 5178 W. Garfield Road, Salem, were united in marriage on Sept. 29 at the First Presbyterian Church in Salem. Minister Jonathan Weaver officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony at 3 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Tereza Branca of East Africa and the late Haile Rezenom.
The bridegroom's parents are Jay and Rita Esbenshade of 5581 Knopp Road, Salem.
The bride was escorted by Rita Esbenshade and given in marriage by Yohannes Rezenom.
The maid of honor was Yerusalem Lanier of Cleveland.
Attendants included Anja Esbenshade, the bridegroom's sister; Kenton Esbenshade, the bridegroom's brother; Dan Graham; and David and Tara Martin.
Jenna Witmer of Salem, the bridegroom's cousin, was the flower girl.
Dan Graham of North Lima served as best man.
Ushers included Elvin Witmer of Buffalo, N.Y., and Roger Witmer of Salem, the bridegroom's uncles.
Alex Esbenshade, the bridegroom's son, was the ring bearer.
Approximately 176 guests attended the reception at Dutch Village Inn.
The newlyweds are graduate students.
