- Firefighters were called at 12:26 a.m. Wednesday by a passerby for a possible fire at DeRienzo's Italian Foods, 387 S. Broadway Ave., and found a dumpster and trash chute on fire at the rear of the building. The fire had just started to spread to the building and was extinguished. The rear of the building was checked with a thermal imaging camera and all checked out.
